What I Read in 2017

Okay so 2017 wasn’t the best year for reading for me. This is due to me being a lazy piece of shit. No other excuse. I’m just lazy and was in a slump for the first 6 months of the year… thats normal for somebody who wants to blog about books right… right?

In total I read 10 books this year which completes my GoodReads challenge YAY.

Those books were:

  • The Invisible Library by Genieve Cogman
  • The Night Circus by Erin Morgerstern
  • The Girl in the Well by Rin Chupeco
  • The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness
  • Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb
  • Ice Massacre by Tiana Warner
  • Cinder by Marissa Meyer
  • The Girl in the Glass Box by Andi Adams
  • All the Dirty Parts by Daniel Handler
  • Seraphina by Rachel Hartman

My Top 4 of 2017 in no particular order:

  1. Assassin’s Apprentice
  2. Cinder
  3. The Rest of Us Just Live Here
  4. The Night Circus

(Yes, I may have made it top 4 just because I couldn’t decide for a top 3… don’t judge me)

You can check out reviews and other posts I’ve made throughout the year on my blog if you’re interested.

What was your top 4 books of the year? Did you read any that I have and loved them to? Let me know in the comments xoxox

  1. Those are some really good ones! The Rest of Us Just Live Here was one of my favorites from this year, too! And I love Cinder as well. I may have to check out Assassin’s Apprentice, since I’ve never heard of it. My top four this year was:
    4) Seven Ways We Lie by Riley Redgate
    3) Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
    2) A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness
    1) I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson
