So this was another tumblr thing but I’m still posting it on here anyway! (It definitely doesn’t have anything to do with the fact that I am a lazy blogger…)
Thank you to @brightbeautifulthings for tagging me!
This round is open to interpretation, so don’t let the word bookshelves stop you. Whether your collection is big or small, physical or digital, your parents’ or from the library, it counts as a bookshelf here. To play: answer the prompts and tag your friends to do the same. Optional: use #microreview and check out @microreviews for “rules,” reviews, and more!
What genres or types of books dominate your shelf?
My bookshelves are completely fiction! Mainly YA fiction but also some adult books. Nearly all of them are fantasy/high fantasy bc thats my favourite genre ever! I don’t stray with genres very often bc I know what I like and what I like is stories with magic and more often than not, elves.
What do you wish you had more of?
Books, obviously. Really I just wish the series that I own were complete. I have a lot of first or first and second books but not a lot of full sets of series which just makes them look a little sad.
Smallest book? Largest book?
The smallest (thinnest) is If I Stay by Galeforman (unread).
The largest is A Feast for Crows by George RR Martin (…also unread…)
Oldest book? Newest book?
The oldest book on my shelves is my mams copy of The Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien which she gave to me to read while I’m away at uni. (Just fyi my mam has read it THREE TIMES! THREE. I haven’t even managed to read it once and she has read that big ass book 3 whole times, I’m still not over it)
Does anything live there besides books?
Ofc, where else am I going to keep my wands, skull candle holder, 101 dalmatian ornament, dragon ornaments and my tbr jar?
Tagging but you don’t have to if you don’t want to!
and anybody else who hasn’t done this yet but wants to I tag you too!
